Mardak™ Scoops Second in Software Satisfaction
Mardak is delighted to announce that Mardak Construction Accounts secured 2nd place in both the categories which they were shortlisted in.
In the Mid Range Accounting Software category, Mardak beat strong competition from Access (previous winners of the award) and Hansaworld to take 2nd place. The category was very closely fought and Mardak Construction Accounts only narrowly missed out on the top spot! Mardak achieved an average quality score of 3.77 out of 4 - less than 1% lower than that of the winner! It is also worth noting that the Software Satisfaction Awards cover all industries; Mardak Construction Accounts is the only construction industry specific package to have made it to the finals as Iris Exchequer failed to be shortlisted.
Mardak had similar success in their other category, Paperless Office Software of the year. Competition came from Version One and Invu, but again Mardak Construction Accounts took 2nd place with an average quality score exactly 1% behind that of the winner, Draycir Ltd.
The awards, which are organised by Sift Media are of great significance as they are voted for by the actual users of the software. Each category is judged on 4 areas; ease of use, functionality, reliability and value for money. This year over 8,100 individual software users cast their votes across the categories.
