JDM Technology Group, a global group of leading software providers for the construction industry has recently announced that it has acquired Safran, a Norway-based provider of risk, project, and portfolio management software.

Founded in 1997, Safran makes world class software that enables businesses to precisely plan and execute complex projects across several industries including oil and gas, engineering and construction, utilities, and the public sector. Based in Norway, Safran has offices in New York, London, and Oslo, with an international sales team based in the UK and a network of partners and resellers.

Safran’s products, which include Safran Project, Safran Risk Manager and Safran Planner provide solutions for scheduling, planning, and executing projects. They understand the strict requirements for stability, performance and scalability in modern projects and design their software accordingly.
