Software Sales - South West

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive with in-depth knowledge of the construction industry and previous experience working for a software company.

The Sales Executive will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base. This individual will be responsible for account management in the South West territory, developing and implementing sales strategies, and fostering strong relationships with clients.

  • Identify new business opportunities, conduct market research, and analyse competitor activities to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral, promotional materials, and campaigns.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyse sales data, and generate reports for management review.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company's products and services.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and construction-specific software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and product enhancements.
  • Continuously enhance sales skills and industry knowledge through training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong knowledge of the construction industry, including understanding of industry practices, challenges, and software requirements.
  • Previous experience working for a software company, preferably in construction or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and industry influencers.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • A high degree of self-motivation and ambition.
  • Results-oriented with a proactive approach to sales.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
