Flemming refurbishes its internal systems with Evolution Mx

Birmingham-based refurb specialist Flemming Construction Group has been a long standing user of the Evolution family of ERP systems.

Formed in 1994, the company has a blue-chip client base across the leisure industry such as Heineken, Sainsburys and Thorntons Plc.

The company wanted to look at maximising the efficiency for the accounts payable process and reduce the general workload for the accounts department by eliminating all physical paperwork for supplier and subcontractor invoicing.

It therefore decided implementing Evolution Mx would be prudent as the system’s Invoice Register significantly reduces all paperwork handling for the AP function, while facilitating an efficient 3 way matching.

Combined with business intelligence reporting, this update allows the business full transparency, from actively reporting how many invoices need to be processed and allowing prioritisation, to displaying the number of invoices in query, and with whom, to avoid bottlenecks. Moreover, the Business Analytics reporting can be applied business-wide to allow for further efficiency improvements to be made.
