Speller Metcalfe wins new Wolverhampton library upgrade

We’re proud to announce that the City of Wolverhampton Council has selected Speller Metcalfe for major upgrades to the Central Library and Adult Education facilities as part of the £61M City Learning Quarter development.

This Worcestershire-based company has been awarded the pre-construction contract, allowing them to develop detailed designs and perform preliminary work ahead of the main contract and comprehensive construction set to begin in the autumn.

Plans for the Central Library include restoring the Grade II-listed building's façade on Snow Hill, installing a new roof, remodeling the interior, adding a new rear entrance lobby, and landscaping the surrounding area.

Speller Metcalfe is also working on phase one of the City Learning Quarter masterplan, a new Advanced Technology and Automotive Centre which they aim to complete this summer.

Congratulations to Speller Metcalfe for this significant achievement!
