2016 - A year in review

As a company we’ve made significant progress in 2016 - not just in terms of our software, but behind-the-scenes, too. We’ve been delivering significant updates to all of our products, providing our customers with more value and ever-improving functionality.

Evolution M and Trader

Our flagship software, Evolution M, saw several significant releases throughout 2016 which improved the software further with even more functionality.

In the first quarter of the year there were important changes to the UK payroll functions and the addition of the Scottish rate of income tax. We also made changes to the subcontractor management function, with the Q1 update now allowing for monthly CIS300 returns to be reopened and resubmitted.

The biggest update of the year was released in two parts - in July and December and featured a host of new functions and enhancements.  These included:

  • Mobile purchase ordering
  • Additional business analytics apps
  • A new reporting facility within the Plant Hire module
  • The ability to register subcontractor invoices (and match them to purchase orders),
  • Integration enhancements

This year also saw the implementation of Business Analytics powered by XCIPIO. After showcasing the enhanced module at our Live@ events, a number of customers are now using it for business reporting and knowledge sharing across their organisations. It’s a powerful module that is delivering real benefits to customers in businesses large and small.

Trader customers also received a number of updates in order to meet UK and Irish reporting requirements whilst benefiting from feature enhancements.  We also increased our Trader customer base with some great companies coming on board.

Customer Events

After their success in 2015, our LIVE@ Events continued in 2016. The events provide customers with the chance to have one-to-one software support and tips from our team, as well as previews of future software enhancements. We held events in Salford, London, Newbury, Bristol and Dublin and met over 150 customers. We’re holding more events next year and will be refreshing them with some great new content. If you want to know when the events are and join us, why not sign up to our mailing list?
