At Integrity Software, we are proud to celebrate the continued success of our long-standing customer, Neilcott Construction, as they accelerate toward full employee ownership – set to become debt-free five years earlier than originally planned.
Neilcott’s exceptional performance, underpinned by strong financial management and a clear focus on operational efficiency, is a testament to the leadership and vision of their team. As the provider of their construction management software, we’re honoured to have supported them on this journey.
In 2021, Neilcott became employee-owned via a £22.5 million loan. Just four years later, they’ve reduced that debt to just £1.5 million and are on course to fully repay the balance by autumn 2025, well ahead of the original 10-year plan.
Stronger margins, better cash flow
Neilcott’s 2024 results tell a powerful story. The company achieved £7 million in pre-tax profit – more than double the previous year’s total – on turnover of around £133 million. Operating margins rose from 2.6% to 7%, while year-end cash reserves grew by over 30%, reaching £23 million.
Behind these numbers is a clear focus on data-led decision-making. With the support of our software platform, Neilcott have been able to accurately track project costs, improve cash flow forecasting, and identify opportunities for further margin improvement.
With confidence in their financial strength, Neilcott has not only fast-tracked debt repayments but also reinvested in their people. The company distributed £300,000 in profit share to employees and injected a further £5.4 million into the Employee Ownership Trust.
This commitment to shared success is a core principle of Neilcott’s business model, and we’re pleased to play a small part in giving them the tools to deliver on it.
Looking ahead to sustainable growth
With more than £80 million of work secured into 2026, Neilcott is on track to deliver £150 million turnover and £13 million operating profit next year. This forward momentum is underpinned by clear visibility of their pipeline, strong project controls, and a focus on sustainable growth.
